Choosing Where to Give

There are many funds to which you can give that greatly help and support William Carey University. You can specify how you would like your gift invested by choosing from the drop down on our donation form. Below are a few options:

Academics

Giving to an academic department or school directly enhances the quality of education at William Carey University. Giving to academics improves programs and provides better equipment and technology for students.

Athletics

Giving to an athletic program enables us to have state-of-the-art sporting facilities, host larger tournaments, and have better equipment, thus giving our student athletes more opportunities during their time at Carey.

Scholarship Fund

Giving to scholarships or establishing an endowed scholarship is a great way to make WCU education accessible to every student, regardless of ability to pay. When establishing an endowed scholarship you may name the scholarship and the scholarship criteria.

Endowed Chairs/Professorships

Establishing an endowed Chair of an academic department or school or an endowed Professorship recognizes outstanding professors and leaders in their field. Endowed Chairs and Professorships help attract and retain the best professors at William Carey University.

Planned Giving

Consider leaving a legacy through planned giving. You can place William Carey University in your will, designate Carey as a beneficiary in your life insurance, establish a charitable gift annuity or a charitable remainder trust, or donate real estate.
