Mission and Goals

Mission of the School of Business

The School of Business strives to provide an environment that promotes student learning in the field of business within a caring Christian Community. The educational experience in the School of Business is focused on providing students with the knowledge, skills, and ethical principles to assume leadership positions in their workplaces, communities, and the global business environment.

Broad-Based Student Learning Goals:

  1. Students will be able to demonstrate proficiencies in core business knowledge and skills.
  2. Students will be able to identify business problems, alternatives and solutions in individual or group settings.
  3. Students will be able to integrate decision-support tools and apply them to decision making.

Broad-Based Operational Goals:

  1. The School of Business faculty will participate in professional development activities.
  2. The School of Business will provide high quality instruction in business courses.
  3. The School of Business faculty will utilize technology to enhance student learning.
