Carey Suzuki Institute Announces Fall Term
The fall term for the William Carey University Suzuki Institute, which offers violin, viola and cello lessons for children ages 4 and up, will begin on August 17.
The term will last 12 weeks and will incorporate private lessons, group classes, recitals and parent-teacher conferences. Classes are offered in varying skill levels. The institute's curriculum is based on the teaching philosophy of Japanese violinist Shinichi Suzuki, who believed "musical ability is not an inborn talent but an ability that can be developed."
