New WCUCOM class welcomed to Hattiesburg
Hattiesburg, Miss., August 10, 2012 - The Area Development Partnership, the Historic Downtown Association (HHDA), the City of Hattiesburg, and VisitHATTIESBURG hosted a private reception to welcome the new William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine (WCUCOM) students and faculty on Wednesday, August 8, at the Historic Depot in downtown Hattiesburg. Featured speakers included Betsy Rowell, executive director of HHDA; Web Heidelberg, president of HHAD; John Brown, assistant to the mayor, speaking on behalf of the City of Hattiesburg, and Dr. Tommy King, president of WCU. The 108-member class includes 67 men and 41 women.
