Paul Harbin Soccer Camp Held at WCU

The annual Paul Harbin Soccer Camp was held at William Carey University July 7-10.

The camp, which has been conducted by Harbin for over 20 years, is designed to help build confident and responsible young female soccer players. Approximately 200 student-athletes from nine Mississippi and Louisiana high school varsity and junior varsity teams participated in the camp.

Harbin, of Birmingham, Ala., has 23 years of experience as a head coach, spending time at Mercer University and the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He retired as a head coach in 2010 but continues to organize his popular camps. The camp has been held at WCU since 2013 with assistance from Danny Owens, head coach of women’s soccer at WCU.
