WCU Holds International Food Fair

Hattiesburg, Miss., October 15, 2013 - William Carey University held its fifth annual International Food Fair on October 10 in the Student Conference Center.  Booths were set up representing different countries, and each booth offered samples of food from that country. The booths were adorned in colorful decorations and flags from each country hung from the ceiling.

Argentina, Brazil, Chile, China, Germany, India, Jordan, South Korea, Mexico, Moldova, Nepal, Russia, Spain, and Zimbabwe were all represented by WCU students, faculty and staff members, some from those countries, dressed in the native dress to serve the food. There are currently 112 international students from 36 different countries. Of those 112, 80 are returning students.
