WCU Nursing Professors Attend Mississippi Nurses Summit in Jackson

William Carey University faculty members Dr. Patrick Brady, assistant professor of nursing, New Orleans campus, Dr. Deborah Chatham, assistant professor of nursing, Tradition, and Dr. Karen Taylor, assistant professor of nursing and coordinator for the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program, Hattiesburg, attended the Mississippi Nurses Association (MNA) 2012 Nursing Summit in Jackson on Tuesday, January 31. The summit, with the theme “Nothing Stays the Same Forever,” focused on the changes facing nurses in Mississippi.
Dr. Brady and Dr. Chatham were selected by the MNA Council on Nursing Research to present posters of their research, which was judged to be of high quality and interest. Dr. Taylor attended the Summit as a member of the “DNP Wall of Fame” of the Mississippi Educational Consortium for the Doctorate of Nursing Practice.
