WCU President Elected to International Baptist College Association Board

Hattiesburg, MS, June 24, 2014 - Dr. Tommy King, president of William Carey University, was elected to a four-year term on the International Association of Baptist Colleges and Universities (IABCU) board during the annual meeting June 1-3 in Charleston, S.C. The IABCU, which was formerly the Association of Southern Baptist Colleges and Schools, is owned and operated by its 47 member schools located in 16 states and two foreign countries. The association includes 44 colleges and universities, two Bible schools, and one theological seminary.
 
IABCU offers its members programs such as the doctoral loan program for faculty and administrators and the tuition remission program for the dependent children of full-time teachers and administrators in Baptist colleges and universities. The association is headquartered in Nashville, TN.
