WCU Welcomes New Medical Students with Picnic

Hattiesburg, Miss., August 7, 2012 -  The William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine (WCUCOM) welcomed new students to school with orientation activities August 1-3. Included in the orientation schedule were welcoming sessions, distribution of medical instruments, lectures on study skills, overviews of courses, a student organization fair, and breakfast fellowships sponsored by Amite County Medical Services, Inc., Regions Bank, and Crowne Apartments. Students also enjoyed a picnic sponsored by the Student Activities Association held in the Student Conference Center on August 2.
