WCU Women's Golf Team Opens Season Against UNO

The William Carey University women’s golf team opened their season with a win against the University of New Orleans at Shadow Ridge Golf Club on Wednesday, February 15, in the Lady Crusaders debut at home. The Lady Crusaders represented themselves well, with a score of 362 over UNO’s 513. WCU’s 362 set a new single round record for the Lady Crusaders. Summer Struzinski finished with a score of 80, breaking WCU’s low round record for women’s golf. The Lady Crusaders will be back on the links at the Spring Hill Badger Invitational competition in Mobile, Ala., March 5-6.
