The mission of the Master of Education in teaching and learning globally is to prepare educators to be confident, caring, and reflective educators and facility coordinators who become change agents for positively impacting students’ lives socially, physically, emotionally, and academically.

Program Overview


Hours

The program is 30 hours and may be completed in as little as 12 months. This program begins each trimester.


Delivery Method

Classes are delivered in a fully online format that is perfect for the working student who wants to take their education to the next level. Classes are designed to be flexible and require no synchronous meetings. William Carey uses Canvas as the learning management system for online coursework.


Applicant Prerequisites & Requirements

Prospective students must:

Complete online application & pay application fee

Submit official copies of all transcripts to Graduate Admissions via eScript or mailed from the institution

Have a GPA of 2.5 for the last 64 hours of undergraduate work or a cumulative GPA of 2.5

Hold a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university

Provide two recommendations from past or current supervisors


Career Outlooks

This degree WILL NOT lead to a Mississippi Educator License; however, it is recognized by the MS Department of Education for Class AA Master’s degree level license for individuals who currently hold an educator license.
