Andrea Beltran Landers is one of the most sought-after cellists of her generation. A native of Lima, Peru, Beltran Landers began her musical training at the age of five under Finnish pedagogue Annika Petrozzi Helasvuo. In 2008 Andrea was awarded a full scholarship to be part of the President’s International String Quartet, leading chamber ensemble at Western Illinois University. After graduating Summa Cum Laude from this institution, Beltran Landers went on to pursue a master’s degree at The University of Southern Mississippi. Besides being in great demand as a teacher, orchestra musician, and recitalist, Andrea has co-founded the award-winning Klangfarben String Quartet, and most recently, the Kahlo String Quartet.
