Beth Parker, a native of New Orleans, calls Hattiesburg her home. She comes from a musical family, married a church musician, and has been involved in music education serving as a music teacher in both public and private schools in MS, a college professor in AL, and taught many students through her own private piano studio. She and husband Ronnie served with the IMB during 1980-2002 as music missionaries in Brazil, but always returned on furloughs to their home town of Hattiesburg. She loves traveling and spending time with her family. She and her husband Ronnie have two daughters and seven grandchildren.
Mrs. Parker holds a Bachelor’s and a Masters Degree in Music Education with concentration in Piano from William Carey. She returned to her alma mater in the Fall of 2015 as an adjunct instructor in Class Piano and Applied Piano. She also serves as a Collaborative Pianist for vocalists and instrumentalists.
