Dr. Donna George is an assistant professor in the WCU graduate Dyslexia Therapy program. Donna also serves as principal of The 3D School, a special purpose for children with dyslexia in grades 2-6 in Petal, MS. Dr. George started her career in education in 1990. She graduated from the University of Memphis, Mississippi College, and is a two-time graduate of William Carey. She has also been a teacher of grades K-8 in public and private schools, a director of curriculum, and a dyslexia therapist. Donna has taught in Mississippi, Tennessee, and Louisiana. She has been married to Rick George, a graduate of Mississippi State, William Carey, and the University of South Alabama for 33 years. They have three grown children, Tommy, a graduate of Mississippi State, Kristin, a graduate of Ole Miss and Marion University, and Michael, a student at Mississippi State.
