A longtime residency of Saucier, Mississippi, Lori began her career at William Carey as an adjunct professor in 2015 and started her tenure as a full-time faculty member in 2017. Lori has 23 years of classroom experience teaching 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade students. At the school and district level, she planned, organized, and implemented professional development related to English Language Arts. She was named Harrison County School District Teacher of the Year in 2010, MACTE Educator of the Year for 2016-2017, and the 2022 Tradition Campus Faculty Member of the Year. Lori enjoys the beach, reading, and spending time with her family. She is married with three grown children and is Mimi to six grandchildren. Lori believes teaching is a ministry and considers it is an honor to help prepare future educators to meet the academic, social, and emotional needs of the children of Mississippi.
