Tonya G. Creech received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2000 from West Virginia State University. She attended West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, WV and graduated with her Doctor of Osteopathy in 2006. After completing a traditional rotating internship at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Ronceverte WV, she went on to finish her residency in Family Medicine at Alaska Family Medicine Residency, Providence Hospital in Anchorage Alaska.
She worked with the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium as a family physician until her move to Mississippi in 2012. She has worked Urgent Care and Family Practice in Hattiesburg and Purvis, MS. She has served as preceptor for Family Medicine for students from WCUCOM and premed students from USM, WCU and other local colleges. She worked as an adjunct faculty at William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Doctoring Skills and Clinical Sciences prior to joining the faculty fulltime in 2016. She holds membership in the American Osteopathic Association, Mississippi Osteopathic Medical Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
