WCU Nursing Faculty Attend Conference

Hattiesburg, Miss., October 31, 2012 - Three William Carey University nursing faculty attended the Mississippi Educational Consortium for the Doctorate of Nursing Practice Institute's recent conference "Setting the Bar High: Integrating Technology into Practice" held at Alcorn State University School of Nursing in Natchez on October 12. Dr. Patrick Brady, associate professor of nursing, New Orleans Campus, Dr. Deborah Chatham, associate professor of nursing, Hattiesburg campus, and Dr. Karen Taylor, assistant professor of nursing and coordinator for the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program, Hattiesburg Campus, joined other nurse leaders in education, practice, and health care administration for networking opportunities and seminars on nursing leadership. Dr. Brady and Dr. Taylor are members of the Consortium's "DNP Wall of Fame" and were also selected to present their scholarly posters at the conference.
