UPDATE: Jan. 26, 8:30 p.m.
Classes
The class meeting schedule for the next two weeks will be posted on the school website on Friday.
Registration for spring trimester has been extended to Feb. 3. There will be no late registration fees for spring.
From the Art Department:
The Art Department will resume its regular schedule next week at University Baptist Church where we have moved easels, drawing horses, etc. We also have a small library and student lounge area set up. We want to give students a chance to get together and talk about art in person. Any student who cannot make it due to location displacement or other circumstances will be accommodated. Please let us know if you need a ride to school or are still looking for housing so we can help you. Dr. Diket will be calling all art majors today to talk with you. On Tuesday we will have a potluck at noon between painting and graphics classes. Students who wish may bring something, but do not have to do so.
Carey Strong
Join us Friday, Jan. 27 at 6 p.m. for a Carey Strong service at Temple Baptist Church in Hattiesburg. This will be a time for the Carey Family and friends of Carey to come together for encouragement, determination, information, fellowship and worship.

From IT
Telephone service has been restored to the Hattiesburg campus. We are able to place and receive outside calls. Please keep in mind that not all offices or staff members have phones set up in their temporary locations; therefore, many may still be unavailable. The voice mail system is down until new equipment arrives.
A message has been sent to all students receiving a 2016 1098-T with instructions for accessing your form.
Donations
The generosity of the community has been amazing. The students' personal needs have been met at this time. However, students will continue to have financial needs in the weeks to come as they begin replacing textbooks, computers, other school supplies, clothing, and making repairs to their cars. Right now our greatest need is for financial contributions for the ongoing needs of students. Donations can be made online at
www.wmcarey.edu/advancemen. Please note your donation is for Student Tornado Relief or Tornado Damage Fund.
