Students receive Board of Ministerial Education Scholarships

The Mississippi Baptist Convention’s Board of Ministerial Education recently awarded $1,000 scholarships to 10 William Carey University students. The scholarships were awarded based on the students’ demonstration of “faithfulness and godly character, as well as dedication to academic success.”
Students receiving scholarships are: Joshua Britt, a senior religion major from Wesson; Colton Fornea, a senior Christian ministry major from Angie, Louisiana; Sarah Housley, a junior Christian ministry major from Purvis; PJ Keen, a junior Christian ministry major from Decatur, Alabama; John Mark McCormick, a senior church music major from Petal; Matt McNair, a senior church music major from Pearl; Richard Shofstall, a senior physical education major from Lumberton; Chandler Smith, a senior music education major from Saraland, Alabama; Jacob Stone, a senior Christian ministry major from Gulfport; William Wilkie, a sophomore religion major from Saucier.
