WCU students receive scholarships during business luncheon

William Carey University and the Area Development Partnership hosted the annual Small Business Leadership Award luncheon on May 2 at Southern Oaks House and Gardens. This year’s recipient was CR Properties and founders/owners Rob and Craig Tatum. Sam Britton, representative for the southern district of the Mississippi Public Service Commission, was the keynote speaker.
Three WCU students received scholarships during the event. In the photo, Dr. Cheryl Dale, dean of the William Carey University School of Business, presents scholarships to Sarah Clark and Kevin Craft. Clark is a cross cultural business management major from Hattiesburg, and Craft is a business administration major from Hattiesburg.
Business administration major Misty Trosclair also received a scholarship.
