English honor society inducts new members
William Carey University’s Sigma Tau Delta chapter inducted six students April 26 during a ceremony at the Hattiesburg campus. Sigma Tau Delta is aniInternational English honor society established in 1924 to confer distinction for academic excellence in English language, literature, and writing.
The 2019 Sigma Tau Delta inductees are:
- Stephanie Arnold of Sumrall
- Megan Brewer Beck of Laurel
- Tiffany DeWitt of Tylertown
- Ashton Dodd of Ellisville
- Sharen Prine of Laurel
- Ainsley Richardson of Hattiesburg
The faculty sponsor is Marsha Newman, associate professor of Language and Literature, and the co-sponsor is Dolores O'Mary, administrative assistant for Language, Literature and Art.
