July 18: Tatum Court dedication ceremony
The public is invited to attend the long-awaited dedication of new Tatum Court at William Carey University’s Hattiesburg campus. Tatum Court is the university's main administrative complex.
The ceremony will be Thursday, July 18, at 9 a.m. A ribbon-cutting in front of the formal entrance will be followed by remarks and prayer in the atrium of the building. After the ceremony, campus tours will be available.
After an EF3 tornado struck the William Carey University campus in January 2017, six buildings were destroyed outright or damaged so badly they had to be demolished. In the two years since, WCU has been steadily re-building. Tatum Court is WCU’s final tornado recovery project.
This is the end of a long road for the William Carey family. Please join us as we celebrate and give thanks on this joyous occasion.
