Spring Break: Baltimore mission trip

William Carey University's Baptist Student Union sent a team of 20 people to Maryland during Spring Break 2024 to help Broken Wall Community Church in inner city Baltimore.

The group worked in and around Northbend Elementary-Middle school – repairing and painting benches, picking up trash, fixing little free libraries, building new furniture, cleaning, organizing, and assisting in at least six classrooms, including a special needs class. The team also helped supply refugee families from the Middle East and Central Africa with needed items and worked as movers for a local man in need of furniture.
