Transcript Ordering Information
The William Carey University transcript is the official documentation of a student’s permanent academic record validated with the university seal, facsimile signature of the registrar, and date of issue. A key to the transcript is included, which contains a full statement of pertinent definitions. Any alteration of the transcript is strictly prohibited.
The Family Education Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, (FERPA), protects student rights regarding educational records maintained by educational institutions. In accordance with FERPA, WCU will not release official transcript information regarding any student without the consent of the student.
Students with an admissions hold or financial obligation to the University will not be able to obtain an Official transcript until the holds are cleared. Transcript requests will be voided and requests will need to be resubmitted.
Current or former William Carey University students may order transcripts online via the student portal for easier account setup. Transcript requests are normally processed within 5 business days of receiving the request provided all information is correct and holds are cleared.
Institutions and agencies affiliated with Parchment Network may accept emailed transcripts as Official records when submitted directly from WCU.
