With the world population approaching 7 billion and the ever growing lostness of the world, we, at careyBSU, know the importance of spreading the Gospel message. There are over 6,000 unreached people groups in the world. That’s people groups that have never heard the Gospel. Of those people who have heard the Gospel only 33%, roughly 2.1 billion, claim to be Christian. That means that there are close to 5 billion people in the world who either have not ever heard the Gospel or are not Christians. These statistics are staggering and can be discouraging. However, we see them as a challenge. That’s right; it’s a challenge to go, to share, and to be God’s hands and feet in the world.
