WCU New Orleans Nursing Students Volunteer at Local School

Ken’Ja Seals of Jefferson, La., and Cari Jo Stafford of Hammond, La., both senior nursing students at William Carey University’s New Orleans campus, perform color blindness vision tests for elementary school children at Benjamin Mays Preparatory Academy, a New Orleans charter school, on November 8. The WCU nursing students did complete vision screenings for 196 students in grades k-2, in addition to a some special education students at Benjamin Mays on November 7, 8, and 14.
