Dr. Scott joined the faculty of the William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine (WCUCOM) in 2016. She is the Course Director for Medical Microbiology and Infection and Immunity and the Preclinical Division Director for OMS II.

Dr. Scott created a strategic plan for the Office of Diversity at WCUCOM and opened the office in 2020. As the Director of Diversity, she works diligently to ensure that the diversity office has a student-centered focus and provides cultural humility training to students, faculty, staff, and administration. Dr. Scott is passionate about creating an equitable academic environment within WCUCOM.


Ginger Lee Myers

Ginger Myers is the Assistant Director of the Office of Diversity at William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine (WCUCOM).Ginger is a native of Hattiesburg, MS. She graduated from Hattiesburg High School (HHS) in 2001 where she currently serves as a member of the Hattiesburg Health Science Advisory Committee. Mrs. Myers is a graduate of Pearl River Community College (PRCC) where she received her Associate of Arts degree (AA) in Elementary Education and a graduate from William Carey University (WCU) where she acquired her Bachelor of General Studies with an emphasis in Psychology. Ginger has over seventeen years of experience working in higher education, ten of which were obtained from the University of Southern Mississippi (USM). She is most proud when she is seen working with the students from WCUCOM or local high schools.


Mattie Moody

Matti Moody-Price was born and raised in McLain, MS, where she still resides with her husband and daughter. She was educated at McLain Middle School and McLain High School where she received her diploma. She furthered her education at MS Gulf Coast Community College in Perkinston, MS, where she studied Business Administration maintaining a 3.5 GPA. She also attended Pearl River Community College and studied Medical Transcribing and maintained a 3.7 GPA. Matti was employed with the Mississippi Department of Corrections, where she spent 16 years working for the State of Mississippi. Matti began her journey at William Carey University as the Administrative Assistant for the Office of Diversity, under the leadership of Dr. Veronica Scott, Director of Diversity and Ginger Myers, Assistant Director of Diversity, in January of 2022.
