Welcome to William Carey University's Academic Affairs Office. As overseers of all academic programs, we collaborate closely with the Provost and Executive Vice President to maintain excellence. This involves coordinating curriculum development, approving new programs, and managing faculty recruitment and evaluation. Our commitment extends to supporting student success through fair administration of academic policies. Dr. Jalynn Roberts, our Associate Provost, serves as our accreditation liaison with the Southern Association for Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges, ensuring our institution meets rigorous standards. Meet the Associate Provost
Dr. Jalynn Roberts
Jalynn Roberts is a native of and currently resides in New Augusta, MS. He has been a professional educator since 2002. Prior to his appointment at WCU, he taught junior and high school mathematics for four years and then worked as an evaluation specialist for institutional effectiveness in a university setting. Jalynn has a number of professional and research interests, including student persistence and retention, effectiveness of online education, and using Bayesian statistics in prediction models. Jalynn enjoys spending time with his family, watching movies, riding his bicycle and four-wheeler, and studying the Bible.
