Health Administration and Education

Carey’s MS-HAE program focuses on administration and leadership in the healthcare setting as well as education for healthcare professionals. In Carey’s Master of Health Administration and Education program, you will be prepared to apply both administrative and business theories in leadership roles in the healthcare industry. You will also be prepared to apply educational theories and concepts to the classroom setting. Here, we prepare professionals for administrative and educator roles that facilitate quality patient care in the increasingly complex healthcare industry.

The program can be completed in 18 months with a full-time plan of study, or 24 months with a part-time plan of study.

Applicant Prerequisites & Requirements
Prospective Students must:
- Complete application for graduate admission to William Carey University and pay all necessary fees.
- Submit official transcripts for all colleges and universities attended to Graduate Admissions.
- Hold a bachelors degree or equivalent in a health-related field from a nationally accredited college or university.
- Provide a statement of professional goals and a current resume.
- Have an overall undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or better or a GPA of 2.5 on the last 30 undergraduate hours.
- If professionally licensed, registered, or certified in a healthcare field, student must provide a current unencumbered license, registry, or certification.
- Prior to starting program courses, students must demonstrate competency in scholarly writing by submission of GRE Analytical Writing score of 3.5+ within the last five years OR passing Scholarly Writing for Healthcare Professionals with a grade of B or better.
