Leading With Purpose
The degrees offered in the School of Business include a Bachelor of Science in Business (B.S.B.) with majors in Business Administration and Cross Cultural Business Management as well as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. The Business Administration major offers concentrations in Accounting, Computer Information Systems, Finance, International Business, Management/Marketing, and Workforce Training and Management. Students who choose a concentration in Accounting are eligible to sit for the CPA exam in Mississippi and the Cross Cultural Business Management major combines the general education requirements for a B.S.B. with 48 hours of business courses and 30 hours of Intercultural Studies to meet the need for entrepreneurial mission work. Our programs focus on building leadership abilities and communication skills through a solution-oriented curriculum. Students graduate from the William Carey School of Business with the decision-making skills they need to succeed in any field they choose.

Meet the Dean
Dr. Cheryl L. Dale
Dr. Cheryl Dale was appointed as the dean of the School of Business in 2005. She began her teaching career at Delta State University and joined William Carey University in 1997. Her areas of teaching are statistics, operations management, and management. Her main interest lies in quality management. She has served as an examiner for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, the Mississippi Quality Award, the Washington State Quality Awards, and the 2002 and 2003 Governor’s Achievement Awards. In 2008, Dr. Dale was appointed as the Thomson Endowed Chair at William Carey University. In 2009, she was selected as the WCU Administrator of the year by the Student Government Association and the WCU HEADWAE recipient. She is a member and co-advisor for the WCU chapter of the Society for Advancement of Management and a member of Sigma Beta Delta international honor society.
