Submit your Application

The School of Pharmacy admissions department makes the admissions process easy.  To get things started, just complete the online PharmCAS application and submit it.  You are required to list all colleges/universities you have attended and ensure all official transcripts are submitted to PharmCAS and sent directly to the School of Pharmacy.  Information about sending your transcripts will be sent to you via email after you complete the initial application.  You are also required to submit a personal statement and two letters of reference.  It’s that easy!  For prerequisite information for the Doctor of Pharmacy program, view our list of prerequisites on the Doctoral Pharmacy Program Page. We look forward to receiving your application.

Next Steps

All applicants meeting the minimum criteria will have their files evaluated. Due to the large number of candidates that apply for admission each year, only the most qualified applicants will be invited for an interview. During the interview day, applicants will receive an introduction to the school, its curriculum and information on student services, academic counseling and financial aid. In addition, each candidate will have his or her application file reviewed for completeness, be interviewed by faculty, asked to complete a writing sample, take a math assessment, and given a tour of the campus and the School’s facilities. Ample opportunities will exist to ask questions about the program, the University, and the local area. If there are any additional questions during the application process, please feel free to email pharmacyadmissions@wmcarey.edu.
