The Advanced Placement Option is an educational and career advancement opportunity for LPNs to complete the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. - Admissions - LPN applicants must provide a copy of a current and valid LPN license with the BSN Application.
- Curriculum - LPN Advanced Placement Option students will take NUR 100 LPN-BSN Nursing Transition instead of NUR 102 Introduction to the Art and Science of Nursing. - LPN Advanced Placement Option students will be allowed to take comprehensive exams to demonstrate knowledge in the following areas: Nursing Pharmacology, Dosage/Calculations, Fundamentals of Nursing, Women’s Health Nursing, Children’s Health Nursing, and Mental Health Nursing. Course credit will awarded for successful performance on theory and/ or skills tests.

The part-time course schedule is designed to accommodate working nurses and allows program completion in ten trimesters or thirty months.
